Letting your property with Birmingham Housing

At Birmingham Housing, we take pride in providing a professional and efficient letting service for local landlords. We ensure your properties are easily accessible to tenants through leading property portals and social media. All prospective tenants must view the property before submitting an online application.

Properties are available for a minimum of six months, pending satisfactory references. Applicants are required to provide a detailed five-year address and employment history. While providing a guarantor is optional, we prioritize applications that include one.

 Prospective tenants must also disclose their credit information, including any unpaid loans or recent bankruptcies. Non-British nationals must submit a share code from the UK Government website.

The following documents must be attached to the application:

  • Photographic ID (passport or driving licence)
  • Two most recent monthly bank statements (not screenshots)
  • Proof of income (two months’ pay slips, accounts, or year-end financial statements)
  • Proof of benefits (if applicable)
  • Proof of residency (utility bill or council tax statement from the last three months
