Cash-strapped Birmingham City Council is auctioning several properties tomorrow, October 24, as part of its efforts to raise funds.

Among the properties for sale are two three-storey retail units located at 147 & 147a Dudley Road, Edgbaston, with a guide price of £315,000. One unit is tenanted, while the other is vacant.

Additionally, a two-storey retail property at 74 Nursery Road, Hockley, is up for auction with a starting bid of £160,000. However, the council has withdrawn two properties, including retail premises on Dudley Road and land on Lichfield Road, from the sale.

Last month, the council raised £523,000 from selling three out of five listed properties. Bond Wolfe, managing the auction, emphasized the potential for asset management with these properties. The auction will be held online via livestream.
